And while I am sure the disparities were this stark, I wanted to confirm the numbers before posting.&#160;<\/p>\n<p>The good news is that for the most part these stats are right on. The bad news is that the stats don&#8217;t tell the entire story. Particularly when you consider that <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Executive_pay\">taxpayers subsidize a large portion of US CEO&#8217;s executive pay and bonuses<\/a> by way of tax loopholes, corporate subsidies and other angles.<\/p>\n<h5><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"200\" height=\"176\" alt=\"ceo payratio\" src=\"\/images\/2011\/10\/ceo-payratio.jpg\" \/><br \/>\nceo payratio<\/h5>\n<p>If anything, this chart should show just how out of line we are with the rest of the industrialized world, and how much more related our system is with banana-republic oligarchies like Mexico and Venezuela, among others.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>&#160;I&#8217;ve seen this chart circulating around FB and some other sites.
