From hand-scrawled drawings on my schoolbooks of sailboats plying the waters of the tropics, the dream was nurtured into a reality. It&#8217;s a mostly happy story, but one that ended far too soon. I am still processing the end of this life&#8217;s chapter, which definitely should have had a better ending.
