But for me, it was not to be. I had to of course fly back to LA on NYE because of Pop&#8217;s taking a turn for the worse. So Raf was left to deal with Cay Caulker on his own for the first 2 weeks of Andiamo&#8217;s stay there. He made do, I&#8217;m sure. Once I got back, I was able to enjoy Cay Caulker for the week or so that we stayed there before heading out.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Lisa, our guest from Ohio who ended up aboard for five days after coming onboard for a sunset cocktail my first day back from LA, surely lightened things up onboard. They demonstrate this by getting AWFULLY close to the anchored boats when they pass through. Hmm.. think that's a hint?\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.theandiamo.com\/images\/belize\/BelizeCayCaulkerDFromMinesotaFishing.JPG\" alt=\"D from Minnesota\" title=\"This is D, he's a retired college professor from Minnesota, who comes down to Belize each year to do some heavy duty fly fishing. He met Raf while I was going, and came onboard Andiamo to try to do some fishing off the boat, they didn't catch anything. \"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.theandiamo.com\/images\/belize\/BelizeCayCaulkerLisaFromOhio.JPG\" alt=\"Lisa in distress.\" title=\"So on one of our afternoon swims, Lisa took our man overboard horseshoe into the water, and decided she wanted to play the damsel in distress. Our motor was on the fritz, so we had to row in and out. On the way back, both of our oars broke! And we were in a heck of a current! We barely made it back to Andiamo. Of course, Lisa did nothing but take pictures of us trying to get back.
