I’m still in disbelief at how fast this year has gone by. Sjelle and I were talking about how it just seems odd that a whole year has gone by since last new year’s eve which we spent in Utila. We’re in the same geographical area this year, but different island. This time, we’ll be celebrating in Roatan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Miet, my belgian friend, and 2 german friends of hers, Imke (who has been onboard before), and Johannes, are onboard. So we have full boat with some fun, cool people, and we’re going to have a good time no matter what we do. <\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n This new year, I’m finding myself at a strange crossroads, trying to figure out what’s next. Where do I go from here? Not just physically and logistically, but emotionally and otherwise as well. While I’m still quite happy about being on Andiamo, and the adventures I’m having, (despite the bad ones), I find myself wondering what the next chapter should be. Dos this life evolve at some point to another level? Lots of questions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n I’m sure that much of this has to do with the bad mojo I’m still dealing with from the big horrific experience I had earlier this month. And I find myself still dealing with the loss of now both my parents. But maybe there’s even more to it than that, and I think I need to take the time to really think about what my next “move” will be. Rather, than take my usual “whatever happens, happens” attitude.<\/p>\n\n\n\n In any case, I think 2007 will be an interesting year.
