August, 2004:

 It appears our hosting server was hacked yesterday, bringing it down for most of the day. We were told that they were going to have to rebuild the entire server and then restore from backup. It’s up now, but our blog is no longer current. It looks like the most recent backup they had was more than 3 days old, so a couple of our recent postings got wiped out.

So, to summarize those postings…

We missed our weather window due to an electrical issue we needed to get resolved. It’s been resolved as of yesterday, so we’re looking at the weather again to see if we can get out of here this weekend. It looks ok, we just want to see if it will last long enough for us to make it to Mexico.

We’ll keep ya posted…

 Things are looking better weather wise, seems that Hurricane Alex off the Carolina Coast is pulling all the weather towards it due to its enormous low pressure system, so thanks, I think?! If all stays this way for the next day or so, looks like we might actually get out of here.

And pics are on the way, we’ve already uploaded them, we just need to organize them on the blog. Should be up soon.

Oh yeah, and have we got a story for you. But not right now. Stay tuned, we should be recovered soon enough to the point where we can actually write about it.
