Ok, so I know I’ve been saying for awhile now that I was planning on doing some serious writing. And needless to say, things have gotten in the way of that in recent times. Though I still am surprised at how much writing I’ve managed to get done despite it all. Now, in an effort to affirm my commitment to my latest vocation of becoming a desperate, hapless scribe, and to try to keep my other various projects and ventures from clouding my field of vision, I would like to introduce my newest blog ventur: “Holes in the Foam…” .
Here, I’ll be showcasing my writing work, new and old, posting commentary and other thoughts, as well as keep a journal of what I’m working on. Since Andiamo has branched off a bit from my central life in its due course, this site will become more of my personal “journal” that the Andiamo site used to be.
Don’t worry, I will continue keeping this site up, along with the help and input of my captains and staff as we have been thus far. I just think it will be creatively healthier for me to “branch off” a bit so to speak, and give my writing its own platform and base to develop. It’s all a work in progress, but things will happen steadily as I’m starting to feel really prolific. I swear! 😉
I have to say, it’s been SOLELY due to the support of the readers of this site over the years that has made this progression to the next level even remotely possible. The feedback, comments, and emails that I continue to get to this day from my work here never ceases to amaze. It gives me at least some inkling of hope that I can somehow avoid falling flat on my face on this kooky experiment.
I appreciate everyone’s continued support and feedback as I venture into this new territory. Thanks for linking up to the new site, spreading the word, and keeping up with my continued efforts at producing some interesting if not entertaining drivel.
Not one to tease, but my current effort is a novelized historical piece that I plan on releasing on Amazon as an E-book. I hope to have it done and edited soon, so stay tuned. 🙂 I’ll be venturing into short stories, non-fiction, and more as I go along.
And thanks again for everyone’s continued support of Andiamo, this site, and everything else. And for what’s yet to come. I mean that, as Sammy Davis Jr. used to say, “from fhe bottom baby, from the bottom”. 🙂
